Khaman Dhokla is a delicious and famous Gujrati dish. It is often eaten in breakfast or in snacks. You will find it everywhere in Gujarat. It is very tasty to eat. It is very spongy in appearance. Because it is made with steam, it is very healthy also.
You can also make it in the microwave, but if you have time, make it with steam. By doing this it tastes very good. You can eat it with the chutney of your choice.
The important ingredients required to make Gujrati Khaman Dhokla are :
- Gram Flour – 2 cup (200 gm)
- Rawa – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt – As required
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Citric acid – ½ tsp
- Oil – 4 to 5 tsp
- Ino – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
- Green Chili – 3 to 4
- Curry leaves – 7 to 8 leaves
- Green Coriander – 3 tsp(finely chopped)
